I have bet on countless of rounds of chemin de fer. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have bet on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of money at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the game.

I still like the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over this time period I have played a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get loaded with this method or beat the house, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is centered on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I bet with basic strategy 21. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the action back down to the original value.

I am very strict and do not back out. It gets extremely thrilling at times. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a few years back with $750 after 35 minutes using this method! And a few months ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!

You need to understand that you can squander a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you notice gamble this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar game.

Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the initial $10 bet

Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 20 dollar

Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet

Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar

Wager forty dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager

Wager $40
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar

Wager $80
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 bet

Bet 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar

Wager 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the first one hundred and sixty dollar bet

If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
