I have wagered on millions of hands of twenty-one. I started working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I have wagered on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of funds at chemin de fer. The gambling dens have made it nearly impossible to defeat the game.
I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is founded on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the action back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very thrilling on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Paris a couple of years ago with $750 after 45 minutes using this technique! And a few months ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the runs you notice gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Wager 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar wager
Bet five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar wager
Bet 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $20
Wager 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $20 wager
Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Wager forty dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the first 40 dollar bet
Bet $40
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80
Wager 80 dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet
Bet 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $160 wager
If you left at this instance you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It’s iffy to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your bet or the end result will not be the same.
