I have enjoyed millions of hands of vingt-et-un. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have played online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of bankroll at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the game.
I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this tactic or beat the casino, however you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is centered on the fact that 21 seems to be a game of streaks. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets very fun at times. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Luxor a couple of years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this technique! And a number of days ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give up a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the runs you notice playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.
Wager $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet
Bet five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar wager
Wager 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of $20
Bet 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $20 bet
Wager $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the first forty dollar wager
Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $80
Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the original eighty dollar bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the initial $160 wager
If you departed at this instance you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
