I have bet on countless of rounds of vingt-et-un. I started working my way into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have played online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of bankroll at twenty-one. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to beat the casino.
I still like the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get loaded with this tactic or defeat the house, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This method is founded on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a match of streaks. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the action back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable at times. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a few years back with $750 after 30 mins using this tactic! And a number of months ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the runs you witness wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 game.
Wager $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the initial 5 dollar bet
Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the original ten dollar wager
Bet $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Wager $20
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first twenty dollar wager
Wager 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first forty dollar bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet
Wager eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first $160 wager
If you departed at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It is hard to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
