I have played millions of rounds of twenty-one. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have bet on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of money at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the house.
I still like the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the casino, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is centered on the idea that 21 seems to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy twenty-one. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the wager back down to the original sum.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a number of years ago with $750 after 60 minutes using this tactic! And a number of days ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can give away a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you notice gamble this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Bet five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 5 dollar wager
Wager $5
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial ten dollar bet
Wager $10
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $20
Wager twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar bet
Wager 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Wager $40
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the first 40 dollar wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original eighty dollar wager
Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $160
Wager $160
Take $160 paid to you, leave the original one hundred and sixty dollar bet
If you left at this instance you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It’s herculean to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
